The workshop will cover some basic principles of drawing, from learning to use the materials to capturing a subject. I will walk through the items on my materials list to discuss some of their uses and qualities, how they may be used in different ways to achieve different effects.

Then we will go over some basic sketching and drawing techniques, including ways to see a subject that will help in capturing it on paper, to give it depth and perspective.

Graphite Pencil in HB (or a set of various)
White plastic Eraser

There are some wonderful drawing kits that already have these tools (plus a few I will not be using) for fairly inexpensive. Amazon, Walmart, Target, Michael's and Joanns have options.
